Warranty Details
We stand behind everything that we sell. All of our Dermatek KT model items ONLY include a 3 year warranty from the original date of purchase against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. All other Dermatek items include a standard 1 year warranty.
This warranty, however, does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alteration, improper maintenance or unauthorized repairs.
All of our Shears include 2 year warranty from the original date of purchase against any manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship.
When proven defective upon our inspection we will repair or replace, at our choice, any defective product free of charge. If found defective within 30 days: we will pick up, repair and return it to you free of charge. After 30 days: please call us (866)386-4555 for a RMA number to return to us. We will repair and return it to you free of charge. Please note: Returns without a RMA number will not be accepted.
This warranty, however, does not cover damage due to normal wear and tear, abuse, misuse, alteration, improper maintenance or unauthorized repairs.
In addition, this warranty shall be limited solely to repair, replacement, credit or refund of the original purchase price and IS NOT TRANSFERABLE FROM PERSON TO PERSON, OR COMPANY TO COMPANY. WARRANTY IS VALID FOR ORIGINAL BUYER ONLY.
Direct Beauty Supply (a division of Milardo Enterprises) shall not be liable, under any circumstances, for consequential or incidental damages including, but not limited to, labor costs or loss of profits arising in connection with the use of or inability to use products purchase from Direct Beauty Supply (a division of Milardo Enterprises).
Note for shear purchases: It is highly recommended to have your shears serviced regularly, but more importantly, have your shears serviced correctly. Any damage caused by incorrect service procedures will void your warranty, thus your shears should only be serviced by a reputable firm that sells, services, and understands the inner workings of high-quality Japanese shears.
Our Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with any purchase you make with us. If there is a problem with your order please contact us immediately so that we can resolve it for you. Full refunds (less freight charged by the carrier) will be issued if merchandise is returned unopened in its original box or packaging within 30 days; open box with merchandise in its original condition is subject to a 20% repacking/handling fee. No refunds after 30 days but exchanges are allowed, subject to a 10% handling fee, if products are returned unused in their original conditions; used merchandise can only be repaired.
No exchanges after 90 days but all repairs will be made free of charge for items still under warranty.(EXCLUDING WEAR AND TEAR) All exchanges, repairs and replacements are shipped via ground service only. Air services are available at an additional cost.

Shipping and Handling
All products are shipped FOB from our Belmont, CA & Hawthorne, CA warehouses. Residential Delivery & other special services are available upon request at additional costs.
Damaged In Transit
Please thoroughly inspect all items for shipping damage before accepting delivery. Do not accept goods if damage is visible on shipping carton. If damage has occurred to the products inside, keep the shipping carton and item and notify us within 5 working days. We will file a damage claim on your behalf and ship you a replacement (via ground service). The carrier may elect to send an inspector to view the damage prior to approving the claim.
Cancellation
If you need to change or cancel your order please do so the same day before 4pm ET. After that all orders are subject to a 5% cancellation fee plus shipping and handling if your order has been shipped. No cancellation is allowed for custom made, silk screening, embroidery and all special orders once they are in production.
